Thanks to the elements, my house is becoming more of a home with each passing moment. So often we find ourselves engulfed in the hustle and bustle of everyday life that we find our appreciation waning. When I speak of appreciation, I don’t mean “things” but the people, places, and dreams along our journey. Life is a gift that is to be cherished. Granted, it doesn’t always feel good, but looking back over the years I can’t find one memory that hasn’t proven it’s worth. With two daughters growing up in today’s society, each and every experience will yield a lesson to be shared.

Here’s to 2016 and all the hope that this year brings!
